Gas Generation Systems

DRAFTPLUS, an easily operable self contained gas generation system produces an ideal blend of Nitrogen / CO2, which will power your entire draught system.

DRAFTPlus will provide:

  • Cost Savings!
  • Longer Shelf Life of Kegs!
  • Reduction of Foam on Pour!
  • Retention of Beer Quality & Taste!
  • Longer Lasting Thick Head on Pour!
  • No Peak Period Run Out’s!
  • Ease of Mind in Powering Your Entire Draught System!

Benefits of DRAFTPlus

The DRAFTPlus system produces a precise mixture of Nitrogen and CO2.

The DRAFTPlus unit ties into your existing draught system, powering the complete system. It is easy to operate, which is ideal for bar staff, eliminating the worries associated with high pressure cylinders and leaks. The benefits are retention of beer quality and costs savings.

Does this sound familiar?

  • residual draught in kegs
  • flat beer
  • acidic or poor taste of beer
  • excessive foaming on pouring
  • only using cylinder beer gas on 1 line because of cost
  • cylinder beer gas running out at peak times
  • outrageous after hours delivery charges for cylinder beer gas
  • system leaks - leading to wastage of cylinder beer gas

DRAFTPlus will:

  • increase keg utilization up to 4%
  • significantly reduce bacteria and oxygen contamination preserving beer taste
  • allow for proper carbonation, reducing foam 'waste'
  • provide enough mixed gas to pour ten pints per minute
  • push beer at your desired pressure, up to 60 psi, ideal for peak times and longer lines
  • results in longer lasting, thicker head on beer

DRAFTPlus produces Nitrogen / CO2

  • Nitrogen: pushes the beer, and is less soluble in beer. It seeds smaller bubbles, making a thicker and creamier head which lasts longer - a sign of 'good beer' to some customers.
  • Carbon Dioxide: at the ideal pressure provides proper carbonation
  • Together, they combine to make the ideal propellant

Common Problems with CO2 & Air Compressors

  • Foaming: wasted beer due to over carbonation (excess foam thrown away)
  • Slow Draw: CO2 pressure 10 - 15 psi, not ideal for longer lines
  • Taste: acidic taste, yeast and bacteria growth. Problems may occur from air intake (oil & dirt)
  • Head: larger bubbles that dissipate quickly
  • Shelf Life: short shelf life due to over carbonation and through the introduction of oxygen (3 - 7 days)
  • Oxygen Contamination: draught beer is non-pasteurized which can lead to bacteria problems

Common problems with Cylinder Beer Gas

  • heavy (weight), high pressure cylinders
  • draught system must be leak proof for optimum utilization
  • potential of untimely depletion of cylinder gas
  • after hour delivery charges
  • consumption of valuable floor space

The DRAFTPlus system:

  • is easily installed and provides reliable unattended performance
  • mounts conveniently on a wall, freeing up valuable floor space. Requires only CO2, compressed air and a 120 volt power supply
  • is the result of the collaboration between bar and restaurant owners, brewing professionals and gas separation experts
  • constructed with the latest gas preparation and separation technology, and uses the highest accuracy blender in the market
  • available with a range of blends for stouts, lagers, imported and domestic
